Osteon Medical supports a range of analog, hybrid, and fully-digital workflows.

Any data submitted is assumed to be accurate, Osteon holds no responsibility for prosthetic misfit. Prosthetic frameworks will be designed precisely to the physical model or digital data supplied.

Conventional Workflow

  • Order Online / Print and fill Work Order Form

  • Send models to Osteon Medical.

    Ensure components are stable within any provided models, loose analogs cannot be restored upon accurately.

    Important: Osteon is a digital milling center and does not pour models from impressions.

  • Osteon designed prosthesis (4-5 working days). Or designed framework (2 working days).

  • Design is sent for digital approval via Email and the Osteon ordering platform.

  • Once the case is approved, it will continue to production.

    Milled frameworks: 2 Working Days

    Finished Cases (Nexus): 15 Working Days*

    *Final case approval means no further changes at any stage.

  • Case dispatched.

Intraoral Scans Workflow

  • Order Online

  • For complete case designs:

    Upload .STL of implant positions, scans and patient photos. For a single arch, this includes:

    • Existing prosthesis in-situ

    • Antagonist dentition

    • Bite

    • Tissue of restoring arch.

    • Existing prosthesis scanned extra-orally 360°

  • Initial Complete Case Proposal (4-5 working days).

    Framework Design (2 working days).

  • Design is sent for digital approval via Email and the Osteon ordering platform.

  • Once the case is approved, it will continue to production.

    Milled frameworks: 2 Working Days

    If any physical jigs/luted frameworks are used, send to Osteon Medical.

  • Initial Complete Case Proposal (4-5 working days).
